'A family where we flourish and learn to be the best version of ourselves'
Church Services
We are always made to feel incredibly welcome at St. Michaels and we ensure we have a termly service there.
Harvest
We share this time of year with the community, as the church is beautifully decorated in preparation for the village Harvest Festival. The children bring in dry products that we donate to our local Ivybridge Foodbank. Rev Hinckley blesses the food that we have brought and contributes to our service with his thoughts on this time of year.
During the service each class will share something they have been working on related to Harvest, this can be from a song about the Little Red Hen to farming across the world, alongside some old favourite songs.
Christmas
What a very special time of year this is for our community. Key Stage 1 lead the service with their Nativity production, alongside Reverend Hinckley handing out a special Bible gift to our new Foundation children.
Easter
Lower Key Stage 2 have recently taken on the lead in delivering the important Easter message. They have performed a short play telling us of the days leading up to Jesus' death, the fateful day and the those important days afterwards. Rev Hinckley joins us, delivering some important words of support and understanding around how this has been important for Christians.
End of Term
This service is all about the Year 6 children and their chance to shine one last time at Primary School. The school community comes together to celebrate their achievements and share in the excitement of their move to secondary school. Again, Rev Hinckley joins us to celebrate their Christian journey and gifts them their Bible as they make the next step in their personal journey.
