Personal Development

'A family where we flourish and learn to be the best version of ourselves'

Cornwood finalists of the Yealm Estuary to Moor art competition: Molly, Thomas and Primrose! Their work was displayed at the Yealmpton Show today. Well done to Primrose who came second overall!

Potato Challenge

Grow the largest crop of potatoes; patience, love and care are most certainly needed to ensure the plants flourish.

Summer Beach Trip!!

What better way to enjoy where we live than a trip to the seaside. The children got to enjoy the sun, sea and sand while exploring the amazing landscape and wildlife that can be found at the beach.

Sporting Events

Within the Moorsway Federation, we like to take part in lots of competitions. From EYFS, right through to year 6, everyone gets to take part in events such as the Swimming Gala, Athletics, Gymnastics, Multi Skills, Tag Rugby, Football Rounders and many more.

Residentials

In year 4, 5 and 6 children in the Moorsway Federation are given the opportunity to attend a residential. These trips are an amazing opportunity to flourish and it is so rewarding to see children be challenged and then succeed both emotionally and physically.

Dartmoor Zoo Trip

KS1 had a wonderful time at the zoo with our friends from Shaugh Prior. We saw all of the animals, had a very informative workshop and even had a little play on the climbing frames. The weather was really kind to us and we ate lunch outside. The children’s behaviour was fantastic and represented our school amazingly well. A huge thank you to all of the parents that helped transport the children to and from the zoo.

Delamore Art Show

We are so lucky to have this event right on our doorstep, meaning the children can walk through the estate and experience the wonders of an art show. They particularly enjoyed the animal pieces.

Down on the Farm

Class 2 had an amazing day on our farm trip. We helped muck out, cuddled some lambs and fed the cows. We learned lots about the work it takes to run the farm.

London Mini Marathon

Huge congratulations to a group of children who competed in the London Mini Marathon on Saturday! We are very proud of you all. What a fantastic achievement!
