Welcome to our Federation website, I hope it gives you a taste of what life is like at Moorsway. I am incredibly proud to be the Executive Head of our 3 small primary schools; Cornwood C of E Primary School, The Erme Primary School and Shaugh Prior Primary.

As our vision states we are all about ensuring that our pupils thrive no matter what their starting point and are able make the progress that is best for them. Our schools are situated within a close distance of each other on the edge of Dartmoor - a fantastic environment within which to learn. The schools within our federation, are all either former, or existing village schools, and are proud of their histories, each having its own unique identity. Now operating together as one organisation, with one Governing Board and Leadership Team, we are best placed to offer our children the highest possible standard of teaching and learning.  Our federation prides itself on providing a friendly, caring, family environment within which children can flourish.

I am lucky enough to lead a team that is committed to children's well-being, achieving high standards and providing the very best opportunities for all in our care.  Staff, supported by governors, work hard to deliver a rich and challenging curriculum; to prepare children for future education; and to help them acquire the skills and enthusiasm needed to embrace the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life. 

We seek to stimulate the love of learning in our children so that they want to learn for themselves and achieve the very best of their abilities. Every child is valued as an individual and encouraged to do their best within a setting where they are happy, well cared for and encouraged to care for others.
